Barcelona Mentoring Program

Programme of support for a compact group of businesspeople from senior managers and executives who are benchmarks in their sectors sector and have an acknowledged track record. Using MIT Venture Mentoring Service methodology, selected businesspeople are advised by mentors, senior managers and entrepreneurs who are benchmarks in their sectors. The programme is intended to encourage the business consolidation and growth of the city’s companies through the voluntary contribution of advice and guidance from the group of mentors for 6 months. The programme includes 6 meetings at which each businessperson sits down individually with 3 or 4 mentors to exchange concerns and experiences and deal with different matters such as sales strategy, internationalisation and generational handover. The programme is intended to increase and strengthen the business fabric and encourage the acceleration of new companies from the city to generate new jobs.
