EIB line of financing

Banco Popular has signed a new financing agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to finance business projects promoted by self-employed workers, SMEs and middle capitalisation companies (MidCaps) that are pursuing any of the following objectives: tangible assets, intangible assets or working capital in the medium and long term to restore the general business liquidity ratio. Projects up to a maximum envisaged cost of 25 million euros. The EIB’s contribution may not exceed 12.5 million euros. The main innovative feature is that it includes the option of financing working capital. Method of financing: Loan or leasing. Term: minimum of 2 years and maximum of 8 years. This service is available at any of the institution’s offices in Catalonia.
