Forest Sciences and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CTFC) is a Public Consortium that was founded in 1994. Its purpose is to help to improve the competitiveness of the forestry industry and rural development through research, technology transfer and training.

Centre d'Empreses Innovadores (CEI Solsonès), Àrea d'Emprenedoria

The Autoempresa (Own Company) service of the CTFC has been operating in the region since 2004 as a centre endorsed by the Catalunya Emprèn Network. Its objectives are: to promote entrepreneurial culture in the territory and to provide support for new business initiatives in the process of their creation, by providing these companies with a distinctive, quality seal and offering a complementary training service. This year, together with the County Council of the Solsonès region, its involvement in this Network has been on a group basis.
