IT training and literacy - Punt TIC

The Council of Cardedeu has been a member of the ICT Network Point since it was created. The two ICT areas for computer literacy are the Municipal Library for the public and the CSETC for businesspeople and entrepreneurs. Both municipal sites provide people and companies with equipment and qualified personnel so they can access information and communications technologies (ICT) and boost the local area. The ICT Point offers advice on ICT, promotes ICT for economic uses such as online employment, and performs the publicity, digital literacy and training tasks. This centre belongs to a network of ICT Points throughout Catalonia that is promoted by the Directorate General of Telecommunications and Information Society of the Government of Catalonia.
