The Bages region Project Bank is a programme that consists of two lines of zero-interest micro-credits aimed at SMEs and entrepreneurs in order to promote the creation of companies and encourage the revival of the industrial and economic fabric while enhancing the region’s shift in production model. The purpose of this line of funding is to facilitate access for the financing of business projects that encourage the creation of companies and employment. 2011 saw the first award of micro-credits addressed to two types of beneficiaries: on one hand entrepreneurs who are launching a new business project and, on the other, small industrial or service companies.
