The mission of the UOC (Open University of Catalonia) is to provide people with lasting learning and educational opportunities. Its purpose is to help people to cover their learning needs and to provide them with full access to knowledge over and above regular planning and restrictions of space.

The UOC Business School was founded in order to build a learning network and offers a training programme with which to tackle three of the main problems currently facing business: training in the creation, management and administration of companies; changes in business; and business productivity and competitiveness.
