The mission of the PIMEC Foundation is to promote updated and environmentally committed business values and culture, raise awareness and support small and medium-sized companies and self-employed workers in incorporating social aspects as a competitive factor in their business dynamic, and to strengthen the social image of business as a generator of employment and driving force for economic growth and social improvement. Its objectives are to accompany and provide support to SMEs and to self-employed workers in the process of incorporating measures that enable them to demonstrate their social awareness, to provide tools, programmes and initiatives to help them become socially responsible companies, and to bring the social sector and the business sector together by establishing a bond that encourages collaboration that is both mutually beneficial and for the common good.
