Its intention is to encourage equality of men and women in all areas: social, political, economic.
It was founded in 1993 as an institution that fosters employment integration designed to facilitate the incorporation of women in the labour market, and particularly those whose employment, cultural or personal situation places them in a situation of greater vulnerability. The three basic guidelines upon which the institution’s work is based are a gender approach, work based on the development of skills and mediation between the labour market or entrepreneurship and/or business sector and women.
