Although the Guild dates back to the year 1211, it was not until 1892 that it was re-established as a modern business organisation. Its main objective is to train, to advise and to defend companies before the authorities, social institutions and institutions in any way associated with the sector. SMEs and start-up companies are likewise provided with a range of services otherwise difficult to come by and costly to incorporate within their business structure, thus significant improving their level of competitiveness.

The service responds to requests for information, advice, consultancy and training from companies in the construction and similar industries. The services it provides are: service of training through experimental learning programmes; service of advice in processes of internationalisation and service of information on the legal framework of reference, financing, statistics and market research.
