Girona Provincial Council is an institution that provides support to the 221 municipalities in the Girona region in order to provide all citizens with quality public services, regardless of whether they live in a big city or a village with just a few inhabitants. The Department of Economic Development, which collaborates with the University of Girona Science and Technology Park, is the department that promotes the industrial research and technological development of companies from Girona.
