The general purpose of the IMDL-Vallsgenera is the creation and implementation of policies, programmes and services that promote the economic and social development of the town of Valls and, where applicable, the Alt Camp region, in collaboration with private, civic and social initiatives. It places particular attention on the creation of companies, the encouragement of entrepreneurship and the creation of employment, particularly for collectives with specific difficulties in personal and professional development through the creation of special programmes and measures to improve the quality of life and development opportunities of people, of the area of the town of Valls and, where applicable, the Alt Camp region. This general objective entails six core areas of action: 1. Training, 2. Employment, 3. Entrepreneurship and business, 4. Trade, 5. Tourism and 6. Promotion of the city.

The institution offers both a service for the creation of companies and different services for existing companies: information and guidance, advice, training, business consolidation, drafting of a business plan, information and advice on transferring a business, information and guidance on second chance opportunities, information and support with grants and funding, information and guidance on financing, offers of both industrial and commercial properties and situations vacant. We have a Business Nursery with industrial premises and offices. We are Reempresa point in the Alt Camp region.
