Citilab is launching the Smart Citizens project as part of Smart City. The aim of this pioneering initiative in Europe is to make the new Smart City paradigm a reality for the public on the basis of the following lines of action: education in Smart City concepts, with Citilab acting as an Smart City Interpretation Centre; generation of innovative projects; encouragement of entrepreneurial culture among young people; and involvement of the public in improving the city. The project includes training, workshops and the Smart Citizens contest to acknowledge the best ideas and proposals. This project includes three components to facilitate the access of anyone who is interested.
