ACTIC digital competence certification -DGTSI

ACTIC (Accreditation of Skills in Information and Communication Technologies) provides certification endorsing digital competence, which is defined as a combination of knowledge, skills and attitudes in information and communication technologies that people deploy in real situations in order to achieve specific objectives both effectively and efficiently. Anyone over 16 years old can therefore prove his or her ICT skills in a computer test that must be taken at one of the 300 collaborating centres authorised by the Government of Catalonia. The certificate is also applied for and awarded online and presenting the application does not require waiting for any announcement of tests dates. People who pass the test are awarded a certificate (basic, intermediate or advanced) which allows proof to be provided of a specific level (1, 2 or 3, respectively) of ICT skills before any company or administration. These certificates are a tool that can help find a job, professional promotion, access to virtual learning tools or to obtain professional certification.
