Entrepreneurial culture programmes

nother key action to promote the creation of new economic activity in the territory is to work on raising awareness of the entrepreneurial culture. Several programs are developed from the Economic Promotion Service of Vilafranca.

PROGRAMA CREAJOVE:
It is aimed at young people in the Alt Penedès region and is intended to stimulate creativity and entrepreneurial initiative. It has three core areas of action:
Action 1: Creajove Workshop: two hour workshops run by the Àgora Centre technical team for secondary students in their schools.
Action 2: Creajove Competition: annual contest both for the most creative business idea submitted by the secondary school students who took part in the Creajove workshops, and for the best business project submitted by a student or actual entrepreneur of up to 30 years old.
Action 3: Entrepreneurs’ Day: a series of activities are run during one morning in May.

PROGRAMA MOTIVA:
The workshop lasts two hours, during which there is a brief presentation on the services provided by the Servei de Promoció Econòmica and on the main sources of business ideas, plus an introduction on how to analyse the feasibility of ideas.
