Every year, Telefónica’s Barcelona-based start-up accelerator selects ten new Internet and new technologies companies to encourage their growth and consolidate their business. Joining the Barcelona accelerator enables winning projects to obtain financing of up to 50,000 euros in the form of convertible participation loans. The programme also provides the team with a work space at the accelerator’s offices, personalised advice for specific mentors, specialised training and access to a global network of talent which will enable them to attract investment both through rounds of financing with business partners and through collaboration with Telefónica or clients of the company.
