ICF Venture Capital

The purpose of venture capital (temporary provision of capital by a fund or company), is business growth and is generally intended for newly created projects of internationalisation, sectoral consolidation and/or innovation, with good prospects of return. The ICF encourages and/or takes part in establishing the venture capital instruments in order to improve the range of capital available to companies. It collaborates and complements the private sector by seeking to multiply the resources destined to each project. The Group participates in venture capital instruments led by third parties and manages several funds directly through ICF Capital: Capital MAB, Capital Expansión (in the investment period) and SICOOP and BCN Emprende (in the divestment period).

Addressed to: Projects that have still not reached the start of mass production phase, for which there is technological or business model risk. Projects, generally of a technological nature, that are ending the development phase and/or are in initial phases of growth. Small and medium-sized companies that are consolidated, making a profit and wish to grow, internationalise and/or develop new products, among other things.
